The size of the image should be such that it perfectly fits your display. In this article, we will explain to you the method through which you can edit the photos to fit your display in Windows 10.

Resizing Photos to Fit your Display in Windows 10

In order to edit the photos to fit your display in Windows 10, you will need to perform the following steps:

Locate the image that you want to edit and then right click on it in order to launch a cascading menu as shown in the following image:

Click on the Open with option from the cascading menu and then select the Photos option from the sub-cascading menu as highlighted in the image shown above.

As soon as you will do this, your photo will be opened in the Photos viewer as shown in the image below:

Now click on the Crop and Rotate tab as highlighted in the image shown above.

Select the Aspect Ratio by clicking on it as shown in the following image:

As soon as you will click on it, a list will pop-up on your screen. Select the Widescreen option from this list as highlighted in the image shown below:

Now you can move the crop box shown in the following image in order to adjust those parts of the picture that you want to be visible on your screen.

Once you have adjusted it according to your own choice, click on the Done option as highlighted in the image shown below:

Now select Save a Copy as shown in the following image:

Choose an appropriate location and name in order to save your newly edited photo and then click on the Save button as highlighted in the image shown below:

Now click on the three dots located at the top right corner of your screen as shown in the following image:

As soon as you will click on it, a menu will be launched which is shown in the image below:

Select the Set as option from this menu as highlighted in the image shown above.

Finally, choose an appropriate place from the given list for displaying your newly edited photo which can fit your screen as highlighted in the following image:
