setup.exe: The ‘term’ is not recognized as the name of cmdlet, function, script file

When you are preparing an AD and extending schema while installing Exchange Server 2016, you may get the following error. If this is so, try the following solution.

setup.exe: The 'term' is not recognized as the name of cmdlet, function, script file or operable program. Check the spelling off of the name, or if a path was included, verify that the path is correct and try again.

Solution:

Try executing .\setup instead of setup.exe
