Even if you have never approached them, they will drain all battery power. But you can also monitor which apps can function in the background. Even if you are using universal software, you don’t really want them to work in the background. Stop Windows 10 Apps from Running in the Background
To stop Windows 10 apps from running in the background, follow this procedure step by step.
Click the Search button. Type Settings in the search bar and choose the Settings option as the following image is showing.
As soon as you will click the Settings option, the following screen will appear.
Choose the Privacy option from the Windows Settings screen as highlighted in the above image. As soon as you will select the Privacy option, the following screen will appear.
As you can see that the screen is divided into two parts. Select the Background apps from the left side of the screen as highlighted in the above image. After clicking the Background apps option, the following screen will appear.
Turn off the toggle button named Let apps run in the background to stop running apps in the background. If you turn off this toggle button, the toggle buttons in front of apps will be disabled automatically as the following image is showing.
Moreover, you can also choose the apps which should be run in the background and which should not. Turn off the toggle buttons for apps which you don’t want to run in the background. Similarly, turn on the toggle buttons of the apps for which you want to run in the background as highlighted in the above image.
