Navigate through the following path from the left pane of the screen.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Explorer

Right click on the Explorer option and select the New -> Key option as the following image is showing.

Rename the new key as MultitaskingView as the following image is showing.

Now create another key under MultitaskingView by right clicking on it. Then select the New -> Key option as the following image is showing.

Rename this newly created key as AltTabViewHost as the following image is showing.

Now create a word under AltTabViewHost key by right clicking on it. Then choose the New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value option as the following image is showing.

Rename the newly created word as Grid_backgroundPercent as the following image is showing.

Now double click the Grid_backgroundPercent option and the following dialogue box will appear.

Choose the Decimal radio button. Then enter any value between 0 to 100 in the Value data textbox and click the OK button as highlighted in the above image.
