Install IIS on Windows 10

To install IIS (Internet Information Services) on Windows 10, follow this procedure step by step.

Click the Search button. Type Control Panel in the search bar and choose the Control Panel option as the following image is showing.

As soon as you will choose the Control Panel option, the following screen will appear.

Select the Programs and Features option from the Control Panel screen as highlighted in the above image. As soon as you will select the Programs and Features option, the following screen will appear.

Now choose the option named Turn Windows features on or off from the left side of the screen as highlighted in the above image. After clicking this option, the following dialogue box will appear.

Check the checkbox named Internet Information Services. Expand the sub options and check the checkbox named Web Management Tools -> IIS Management Console. Then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. As soon as you click the OK button, the following screen will appear.

When file searching is completed, the screen will look like this.

On completion of IIS installation, you will be notified as follows.

Now open any browser e.g. Internet explorer. Type localhost in the search bar and press the Enter key. The following screen will appear.
