You can change the amount of recently displayed elements in jump lists with a simple option in taskbar properties in previous versions of Windows. To increase the number of jump list items in Windows 10, follow the procedure step by step:
Click the Search button. Type Regedit in the search bar and select the Regedit option as the following image is showing:
As soon as you will select the Regedit option, the following screen will appear:
Navigate through the following path:
As you will follow the above mentioned path, the following screen will appear:
Now right click on the right side of the screen and select New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value as follows:
Rename the newly added word as JumpListItems_Maximum like this:
Right click on the JumpListItems_Maximum and select the Modify option as follows:
As soon as you will click the Modify option, the following dialogue box will appear:
Change the Value data as 20 and click the OK button as highlighted in the above image.
Now right click on the Word icon on the taskbar and see the items like this:
