Method#1

Click the Search button. Type Run in the search box and choose the Run option as the following image is showing.

As soon as you click the Run option, the following dialogue box will appear.

Type Regedit in the Open textbox and then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. As you click the OK button, the Registry Editor screen will open like this.

Navigate through the following path from the left pane of the screen.

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Right click on the System option from the left pane of the screen. Then select the New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value option as the following image is showing.

Rename the newly created word as HideFastUserSwitching as the following image is showing.

Double click on the HideFastUserSwitching option and the following dialogue box will appear.

Type 1 in the Value data textbox and then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. Close the Registry Editor screen and restart the PC to use the changes.

Type gpedit.msc in the Open textbox and then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. The following Local Group Policy Editor screen will appear.

Navigate through the following path from the left side of the screen.

Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System -> Logon

As you click on the Logon option from the left pane of the screen, there are a lot of options appeared on the right pane of the screen. Double click the Hide entry points for Fast User Switching option as highlighted in the above image. The following dialogue box will appear on double clicking the option.

Choose the Enabled radio button. After that click the Apply and then OK button as highlighted in the above image. Now close the Local Group Policy Editor screen and restart the PC to apply the changes.
