To disable Windows 10 Workstation Lock functionality, follow this procedure step by step.

Method#1

Click the Search button. Type Run in the search box and choose the Run option as the following image is showing.

As soon as you choose the Run option, the following dialogue box will appear.

Type Regedit in the Open textbox and then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. As you click the OK button, the following Registry Editor screen will appear.

Navigate through the following path from the left side of the screen.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies

Right click on the Policies option and select New -> Key as the following image is showing.

Rename the newly created key as System like this.

Right click on the System option and choose the New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value option as the following image is showing.

Rename the newly created word as DisableLockWorkstation as the following image is showing.

Double click the DisableLockWorkstation option and the following dialogue box will appear.

Type 1 in the Value data textbox and then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. Now close the Registry Editor. Changes will be applied immediately, there is no need to restart the Windows.

Method#2

Click the Search button. Type Run in the search box and choose the Run option as the following image is showing.

As soon as you choose the Run option, the following dialogue box will appear.

Type gpedit.msc in the Open textbox and then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. As you click the OK button, the following Local Group Policy Editor screen will appear.

Navigate through the following path from the left pane of the screen.

User Configuration -> Administrative Templates-> System -> Ctrl+Alt+Del Options

As you click the Ctrl + Alt + Del Options at the left pane of the screen, the right pane will show 4 options. Double click the Remove Lock Computer option as highlighted in the above image. After that, the following dialogue box will appear.

Choose the Enabled radio button. Click the Apply and then OK button as highlighted in the above image. After this close the Local Group Policy Editor. Changes will be applied immediately and there is no need to restart the Windows.
