Notifications are incorporated into Action Center under Windows 10. The white Action Center icon shows you have got new updates, and the number badge shows how many notifications. Right-click on the Action Center icon which is on the right corner of the taskbar as the following image is showing.
As you right-click the Action Center icon, a menu will open. Click the Don’t show number of new notifications option as highlighted in the above image.
The number badge on the Action Center icon will be disappeared. When there are new updates, the icon will be white and you can still hover the mouse over the icon to find out how many there are. To open the Action Center, you can always click on the button, where you can display current and past updates. Typically notifications will continue until you delete them, but some notifications can automatically be deleted over time, or if you closed down the application or service that created them.
