The Action Center is that place in Windows 10 where all of your notifications reside. It is also a home for the quick action buttons. You can view your Action Center simply by clicking on the Notifications icon located at the extreme right corner of your taskbar. However, at times, we want to customize the appearance of our Action Center according to our own choice. In this article, we will explain to you the method through which you can customize the Action Center in Windows 10.

Customizing the Action Center in Windows 10

In order to customize the Action Center in Windows 10, you will need to perform the following steps:

Type settings in the search section of your taskbar and click on the search result to launch the settings window. The newly opened Settings window is shown in the following image:

Click on the System tab as highlighted in the image shown above.

Now click on the Notifications and Actions tab as highlighted in the image shown below:

In the Notifications and Actions settings, you can customize many features. We will look at all of them one by one.

Under the Quick Actions tab, you can move the quick action buttons and arrange them in the order in which you want them to appear in the Action Center as highlighted in the following image:

If you want to Add or Remove a quick action button from the Action Center, then you can do this by clicking on the link saying, “Add or remove quick actions”.

As soon as you will click on it, a list of all the quick action buttons that you can add or remove from the Action Center will appear on the screen as shown in the image below:

From this list, you can add or remove any action button from the Action Center simply by turning on or off the toggle buttons in front of every quick action.

You can also customize the type of notifications you want to get in your Action Center by turning on or off the toggle buttons corresponding to each type of notification as highlighted in the following image:
