To set up folder options in Windows 10, follow this procedure step by step.
Click the Search button. Type Control Panel in the search box and choose the Control Panel option as the following image is showing.
As soon as you click the Control Panel option, the following screen will appear.
Now choose the File Explorer Options from the Control Panel screen as highlighted in the above image. As you click this option, the following dialogue box will appear.
Click the General tab. Then choose all options which are highlighted in the above image. Then click the View and the following options will appear.
Check the Hide protected operating system files (Recommended) and Use Sharing Wizard (Recommended) checkboxes which are highlighted in the above image. Click the Apply to Folders button or Click the Reset Folders button to reset all folder options. After that click, the Search tab in the same dialogue box and the following options will appear.
Now check the Always search file names and contents (this might take several minutes) checkbox. After that click the Apply and then OK button to apply all the selected options on the folders.
