To switch the locking time in Windows 10, follow this procedure step by step:

Click the Search button. Type Regedit in the search bar and select the Regedit option as the following image is showing:

As you will select the Regedit option, the following screen will appear:

Now navigate through the following path:

As soon as you will select the Modify option, the following dialogue box will appear:

Enter Value data as 2 and click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. Now click the Search button. Type Control Panel in the search box and choose the Control Panel option as the following image is showing:

As soon as you will select the Control Panel option, the following screen will appear:

Choose Power Options from the Control Panel screen as highlighted in the above image. As you will click the Power Options, the following screen will appear:

Click on the option named Change plan settings as highlighted in the above image. After clicking this option, the following screen will appear:

Now select Change advanced power settings option on the above screen as highlighted. After clicking this option, the following Power Options dialogue box will appear:

Click the + sign of Display option as highlighted above. The following options will appear:

Click the + sign of Console lock display off timeout option as highlighted in the above image.

Now click On battery or Plugged in option as set the time as per your choice. Then click Apply and OK button as highlighted in the above image.

You have successfully switch the locking time in Windows 10.
