Since Windows 7, Microsoft began experimenting with the Start menu. With Windows 8, you have disabled the Start menu entirely and substituted it with a full screen. In the latest Windows, 10 versions of Microsoft restored the full screen Start screen. Activate Windows 8 style start screen in Windows 10
To activate Windows 8 style start screen in Windows 10, follow this procedure step by step:
Click the Search button. Type Settings in the search bar and select Settings option as the following image is showing:
Windows Setting will appear in front of you as follows:
Select the Personalization option from the Windows Settings as the above image is indicating. As soon as you will select the Personalization option the following screen will appear:
As you can see that the screen is divided into two parts. Select the Start option from the left side of the screen as the above image is showing. As soon as you will click the Start option the following screen will appear:
Now turn the toggle button named Use Start full screen On. As you have turned on this toggle button you start screen will look like this:
You have successfully activated a Windows 8 style start screen in Windows 10. You can also disable this option by turning Off the toggle button.
