Method#1

Click the Search button. Write Run in the search box and then click the Run option as the following image is showing.

As soon as you click the Run option, the following dialogue box will appear.

Write Regedit in the Open textbox and then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. The following Registry Editor screen will appear.

Navigate through the following path from the left pane of the screen.

HKEY_CURRENT_USER\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Policies\System

Right click on the System option and select the New -> DWORD (32-bit) Value as the following image is showing.

Rename the newly created word as DisableRegistryTools as the following image is showing.

Double click the DisableRegistryTools option and the following dialogue box will appear.

Put the value 1 in the Value data textbox and then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. Close the Registry Editor and changes will take place immediately.

Method#2

Click the Search button. Write Run in the search box and then click the Run option as the following image is showing.

As soon as you click the Run option, the following dialogue box will appear.

Write gpedit.msc in the Open textbox and then click the OK button as highlighted in the above image. As you click the OK button, the following Local Group Policy Editor screen will appear.

Navigate through the following path from the left side of the screen.

User Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> System

As soon as you click the System option from the left side of the screen, the right pane of the screen will show a lot of options. Double click the Prevent access to registry editing tools option as highlighted in the above image. The following dialogue box will appear.

Select the Enabled radio button. Then select the Yes option from the drop down. After that click the Apply and then OK button as highlighted in the above image. Close the Local Group Policy Editor. The changes will be applied immediately.
